Hurtling from Chicago toward Zagreb

I'm trying to understand the distance.
The distance between here and there.
The distance
between my feet and my eyes
between the bones in my neck
between the branch and the rocky sea
between any two particles
between your eyes and the back of my head
between my hand and those clouds
between the answer and the question
between the solution and the compromise
between green and purple
between the sweet and the salty snack
between the quiet and the silent
between the bump and the fall
between the bend and the sigh
the distance between
between the iris and the retina; your thoughts and your prayers; the finger and the nail; the round and the solid; whirled peas and end[less]this war.

Now I am in Zagreb and nothing is clear. Thunderstorms and waiting to feel right again. And busy working. more soon.

Karen, thanks for the writing. I just got the blog address today. Hope all is well and good. I'm at imonlygoingtosaythisonce.blogspot.com.
but it's not as colorful. I kind of let it go by the wayside. But yours is stirring up ideas...take care.
